Continuing Education Credit This seminar will provide up to 8 continuing education hours through the American Polygraph Association (APA), the Arizona Polygraph Association (AzPA), and the American Association of Police Polygraphists (AAPP)

 

                                                                 SPEAKER BIOS
Ms. Sara Micflikier is a Deputy County Attorney with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. She is an Assistant Bureau Chief in the Sex Crimes Bureau, where she has prosecuted cases of sexual assault, child molestation, sexual conduct with a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor and child sex trafficking cases for over 10 years. Ms. Micflikier has specialized in the prosecution of cases involving Child Sex Trafficking, and handles the County’s Sexually Violent Person Civil Commitments, among other post-conviction and criminal trial caseloads. She has instructed in the field to both local and national audiences.
Dr. Tina Garby has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology. She is in private practice as a clinical and forensic psychologist. She has worked in the mental health field including with victims of violent and sexual crimes for over 30 years and has worked with sex offenders for over 20 years. She conducts evaluations and treatment for sex offenders pre-adjudication and on probation. She has presented at national and international conferences on risk assessments for sex offenders and on Internet sex offenders. She has conducted, published and presented at two APPA’s on vicarious trauma for probation officers working with high-risk populations, including sex offenders.
